Superspacer
All standard Sealed Units manufactured by Camden Group, now feature “Super Spacer” - a foam based spacer bar which
brings energy efficiency to your home and to the environment around us.
Standard windows, fitted in our homes and offices, feature metal bars which separate the panes of glass in the sealed unit.
However, metal bars are conductive, and this often results in heat loss.
Super-Spacer is a foam-based spacer bar and therefore is less conductive than standard metal spacer bars. This provides many
positive advantages:
- Heat loss is reduced by up to 94% which in turn reduces heating bills
- Less energy emissions are released into the environment
- Reduces noise transmission by up to 2dB
- Condensation is reduced by up to 70%
